Anthony Pulis never said it was going to be easy.
And three games into the season, Orlando City B remains winless in USL play, but look to snap their lackluster start when the Harrisburg City Islanders visit the Titan Soccer Complex on Saturday in Melbourne at 7:30 p.m.
“It’s going to be a tough game,” Pulis said. “Whenever we have played Harrisburg over the years, they have always made it difficult. They are hard-working and they fight until the very end. I think the thing that has been clear this year is that there are no easy games in this league, and we have to approach every game the same and we have to have a good mentality, but we believe that if we can execute the game plan, then we have a decent chance of getting something out of it.”
OCB will look to have a bolstered back line after it was announced on Thursday that Devron Garcia of the Orlando City first team was sent on a season-long loan to the USL.
OCB do have their advantages heading into Saturday night. Harrisburg City is also winless and have yet to record any points in the Eastern Conference table.
The Islanders did not play last week after a winter storm canceled their game against the Pittsburgh Riverhounds.
The Lions suffered a 4-1 defeat against Louisville City FC at Slugger Field last week, their worst defeat so far this season, which set OCB’s current record to 0-2-1 with only a point in the Eastern Conference standings.
